He has successfully reorganized operations putting Georgia Tech "Procure to Pay" in a recognized lead role in Higher Education. The systems includes a single access eProcurement, ePayables and T&E which include electronic requests, routing, approvals, fully intergrated imaging, eInvoicing and ACH payments. This is supported by a strategically focused operation.
Thierry, as the Chief Procurement Officer for Air France is in charge of implementing an Air France - KLM combined procurement organization addressing a spending of 13 billion€ and able to deliver best in class performance. He will be sharing with the audience a case study on Air France’s journey of procurement transformation.
With extensive contracting and negotiation experience in supply management and strategic sourcing, as well as sales, Jim Bergman serves as Vice President of APAC/Middle East for IACCM and is focused on the effective implementation and execution of leading contracting practices set forth by IACCM. He supported multiple locations globally, where he addressed strategic sourcing and legal issues concerning commodities and services valued at more than $1 billion annually. He will be leading a workshop on how you can drive further value by successfully integrating relationships and contracts.
Neeraj Bhargava has twenty five years of work experience in Asia Pacific which encompasses Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance; this has provided him deep insight into the emerging and developed markets in Asia. Neeraj has proven expertise in managing people and motivating them for achieving larger business and individual growth. He has successfully led and managed numerous business transformation efforts on global/regional scale and has demonstrated ability to hit the ground running and successfully introduce change. Dennis is a highly engaged international process management and operations expert with more than 10 years of international experience in process and performance management having led several global process improvement and transition programs within the Procurement Organization of DHL. Dennis is now globally responsible for Sourcing- and Category-Management for a cluster of Categories, related to operations (e.g. Packaging, Corporate Wear, Operational Prints, Office Furniture and Office Supplies). As a Six Sigma Black Belt, Dennis puts a focus on consistent and highly efficient execution of the Procurement Process as well as the impact of DHL’s suppliers on its operations.
Kenny is currently the Global co-CPO for Goldman Sachs and has experience in leading a number of category breakthrough and business transformation projects. With over 20 years of experience in global and strategic sourcing, Kenny is best suited to join discussions on how you can incorporate the principles of sustainability into every decision your procurement team makes and how procurement can drive innovation in the organization.
Sebastian is the head of procurement for one of Singapore’s well known government entities; the Health Promotion Board. His experience includes providing leadership in category sourcing strategies & operational excellence which have greatly contributed to the reduction in the organization’s indirect spend, process efficiencies and supply base rationalization. He also has experience in launching a pioneer transformation initiative for outsourcing the operational finance & tactical procurement functions around Accounts Payable, Records, Payroll and Procurement transactional services.
Markus Flamman has been working in the field of Procurement for over 10 years, following a career as Project Manager. The majority of his career is in the finance industry, but he is now active in Oil & Gas. Based in Europe and Asia, he is scoping the entire globe covering all indirect spend categories. His specialization is erecting and/or improving procurement departments in a (semi-) greenfield or developing environment.
As the Vice President - Global Indirect Materials & Services Sourcing for the LEGO Group, Kinnar is responsible for Global sourcing of Indirect Materials & Services Sourcing. He is a seasoned supply-chain leader with experience across several supply chain functions & industries and expertise in direct and indirect sourcing. His specialties include strategic sourcing, contracting / negotiations, procurement and leading organization developments.
Atish is an accomplished professional with rich experience in delivering complex service & technology based solutions at a leadership level, in procurement, contracts & supply chain verticals in a wide spectrum of sectors including upstream Oil & Gas, construction projects and automotive manufacturing. He is responsible of supply chain, commercial strategies for bids & proposals for offshore projects; pre and post contracting, stakeholder relationships throughout the bid cycle, contracts formation & negotiation, sub-contracting, contracts administration, contract amendment, dispute resolution, statutory & legal compliance etc.
Mr. Ho has over 16 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain at major corporations such as JPMorgan Chase, Accenture, AT Kearney and PwC. He has built multiple other procurement organizations at Fortune 500 companies with addressable spend between $900M - $1.5B. Mr. Ho is the CPO at Russell Investment since 2011 and his team manage $1 billion in Spend. In addition to his CPO role, Mr. Ho is also the Head of Corporate Transformation with responsibilities to support the business in redesign processes and drive change resulted in significant improved process efficiencies, increase client satisfaction, risk mitigation and reduce costs.
Sridhar Kandhadai is the VP for Procurement & Supply Chain in Marina Bay Sands. Sri brings 22 years of Procurement experience to Marina Bay Sands having worked across multiple geographies and with several marquee brands. Sri is working in transforming Marina Bay Sands procurement team from transaction focused to a more strategic team. Sri’s expertise includes category strategy, strong relationship with stakeholders, commercial expertise, building effective teams and creating structures to manage Procurement effectively.
Michael is the Regional Head of Procurement, Asia Pacific at T-Systems, Germany's IT services and consultancy firm. Michael started his procurement career with Hewlett Packard. He also held sourcing, quality management and supply chain roles with Motorola and Dell. Prior to T-Systems, Michael is the Head of Procurement, Asia Pacific and Japan, Schneider Electric. With his working experiences, he is well versed in procurement transformation across APAC region.

Up until recently Ramesh Krishnamoorthy was the Director & General Manager of Global Procurement for Asia Pacific & Japan region with Hewlett Packard. Ramesh has been leading the strategic procurement group in support of all Hewlett Packard entities in APJ. His organization was responsible to fuel profitability and growth to HP businesses in Asia Pacific & Japan region through strong strategic relationships, providing procurement insight, innovative thought leadership, and direction to transform the value HP Business Units receive from Global Procurement.
Noelle heads up the Strategic Sourcing and Shared Services Procurement teams across Asia Pacific and Japan and is accountable for all direct spend, indirect spend and Source-To-Pay processes. She is a member of the Global Procurement Leadership Team and leading Procurement transformation efforts. She will be sharing her insights on how you can improve and aligne dialogue between internal and external stakeholders.
Daniel has procurement experience in direct and indirect categories across manufacturing, IT, banking, medical, education, hotel, retail industries. He has previously established strategic procurement process across APAC and developed project procurement process for new office buildings with a focus on procurement involvement and sourcing KPIs. He also established sourcing strategies for China procurement and will be sharing with the audience innovative cost savings initiatives Siemens is executing.
Ron is a strategic sourcing professional with more than 17 years of North American and Asia-Pacific work experience in global commodity / category management, strategic sourcing, new product introduction and supply chain management. He is highly experienced in the outsourced manufacturing and electronics supply markets in the Asia Pacific, Europe and North America and will be presenting a case study on Google’s search for excellence in Stakeholder Relationship Management.
As the Vice President, Global Head of Procurement, Raj is responsible for building and development of category and key account management approach and end to end view of both buy and sell operations. His expertise includes Asia Pacific procurement, hedge development, sales management, sales strategy development and execution, new product commercialization, regional account management and corporate strategic planning. He has over 24 years of experience in leading Procurement function at Multinational companies and successfully led Procurement transformation at different organizations. He has strong expertize in Strategic sourcing, Category management, Lean Procurement, Business Continuity and Risk mitigation, Supplier development and Innovation, Supplier relationship Management, People development including cross cultural team building and Capex management.
Michael is a Global Procurement Director, with a proven track record of leading strategic change throughout Europe, USA and Asia. During the last 10 years in Asia, Michael has been setting up entirely new procurement departments, some with significant cost savings of up to USD 100 mill. Michael was employed two years as a procurement consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers working with both governments and MNC before he last year joined BW Offshore as CPO, leading a global team of 100 supply chain professionals.
Andrea Sordi is currently responsible for indirect procurement in Europe for one of the world’s leading consumer goods businesses, Mondelez International. His main focuses today are on completely reinventing the Indirects Procurement to become Best in Class in delivery and sustainability; improving ways of working across the business through organization re-design; and talent development.
Mr. Pieter Swarts, 51 years old, is since April 2012 Chief Procurement Officer of KPN. Mr. Pieter Swarts leads the global CPO department and reports directly to the Board of Management. KPN is the leading telecommunications and ICT service provider in The Netherlands with €8.5 billion revenue, 17.000 employees, 15 million customers, and main operations in Belgium, the United States and The Netherlands. The total procurement spend is about € 3.5 billion. After studying Business Administration at the HTS-Bedrijfskunde, in Enschede, the Netherlands, Pieter began his career in 1988 in the Chemical Industry as Buyer working for Dow Chemical in Stade, Germany. In 1992 he moved to Belgium to work in the European procurement headquarter, as commodity buyer for raw materials. After three years, Pieter was promoted into the position of Logistics Manager for the Styrofoam business in the Rhine Center, a combined plant in France and Germany. In 1996 he has won the Dow Logistics team award for implementing a more efficient and cost effective way of freight management. In 1998 he became certified for Integrated Resource Management. A year later he was given an assignment as Supply Chain Manager for Dow’s Synthetic Elastomers Business in Frankfurt, Germany. In 2000, Pieter returned to the Netherlands to take up the position of Director of Procurement at ArvinMeritor’s European Procurement Headquarter in Amsterdam. ArvinMeritor is a premier $7.0 billion global supplier of a broad range of integrated systems, modules and components to the motor vehicle industry. In 2001 he was promoted into Senior Director responsible for the Light Vehicle Division worldwide and European Procurement Organization. In June 2005, Pieter was appointed Director Procurement at Maxeda. Maxeda, formerly known as Vendex KBB, was taken private by a consortium led by KKR in 2004 and was at that time the largest non-food retailer in the Benelux. In this role his main focus was on establishing synergy savings between the different retail formats through leveraging volume and procurement knowledge. In 2010 Pieter transformed the Maxeda Procurement Department into Procumulator, a stand-alone business serving multiple customers. In April 2012 Pieter started as the Chief Procurement Officer of KPN. In the last two years a back to the basics was introduced with the main focus om pre-deal and deal making. Significant cost reductions have been realized with a lean and focused organization. Nowadays Pieter and his team is focusing on procurement driven innovation to support KPN’s topline. Pieter Swarts holds a bachelors degree in Marketing and Engineering and serves as Captain in the Dutch Military Police reserves.
Maggie Sy has more than 20 years of extensive experience as a supply chain professional with focused expertise in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Inventory Strategies and Modeling, Demand and Supply Planning and the SIOP process and Commercial distribution strategies and modeling. In her current role, Maggie is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing and procurement requirements of Mead Johnson in Asia.
Kaustubh is a strategic sourcing executive with an ability to leverage procurement expertise in complex and diverse international business environment. He has over 20 years of experience in fields of procurement/supply chain, commodities trading and strategy consulting ranging from operational to executive leadership roles at regional and global levels. He will be joining a keynote panel discussion on how we can best adapt to increasing global uncertainties.
Tiow is currently the global procurement director for Diageo, based out of Singapore and leads end to end procurement (direct materials, marketing/commercial and indirects/overheads categories) for the teams across Asia Pacific, Global Travel, Middle East and North Africa. He has been a pioneering member of marketing procurement for the region and will be giving his insights on how procurement can contribute & be more than a cost savings unit.
Michael Werner was named as Head of Group Procurement at Axiata Group, one of Asia’s largest telecommunication groups serving more than 260 million customers, in December 2015. Michael Werner has been with Axiata Group Procurement since February 2014. In his previous positions as Head of Strategy & Transformation and Head of Strategic Sourcing Technology he has been instrumental in transforming the telco’s procurement from a decentralized structure into a centre led shared service and in setting up the Axiata Procurement Centre in 2014. He also builds up the Group strategic sourcing teams for network and IT.
Meg Yim is the Chief Procurement Officer at one of the largest non vessel operating common carrier ECU Line in charge of procurement and carrier management for Asia Pacific. Prior to joining ECU Line, Meg was at another leading non vessel operating common carrier Vanguard Logistics Services leading the procurement team and overseeing strategic carrier procurement across Asia Pacific region. Meg has 18 years logistics and transportation management experience with organizations and is now focused in effective procurement strategies to create value through collaboration across the group.
